Tesla is one of the most important figure of our history, a genius, some of his inventions are still mind blowing even for present.. for example we still have a hard time to transmit energy wireless.. is done but more like experiments not implemented a lot in real life and not at long distances.

Let’s see who Nikola Tesla was:

Nikola Tesla (10 July 1856 – 7 January 1943) was a Serbian American[2][3] inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, physicist, and futurist best known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current (AC) electricity supply system.[4]
Tesla gained experience in telephony and electrical engineering before emigrating to the United States in 1884 to work for Thomas Edison. He soon struck out on his own with financial backers, setting up laboratories and companies to develop a range of electrical devices. His patented AC induction motor and transformer were licensed by George Westinghouse, who also hired Tesla as a consultant to help develop a power system using alternating current. Tesla is also known for his high-voltage, high-frequency power experiments in New York and Colorado Springs which included patented devices and theoretical work used in the invention of radio communication,[5] for his X-ray experiments, and for his ill-fated attempt at intercontinental wireless transmission in his unfinished Wardenclyffe Tower project.

I didn’t found on wikipedia what Tesla did at 33 years old, fortunately on the internet there are many other sources to get good information, so I looked into his biography, time line of events etc.. so here it goes. In 1889 Tesla was 33 years old, he was still 33 in 1890 so for me is logical to look into both years, especially that the universe is not measured in time as we do.. Also for me is not important when he did it, is more important when he took the decision to do it.. and from the time you take a decision till the time you are able to put it in practice.. it can take a while.

According to Teslauniverse we read:

Tesla Opens Grand St. Lab

Upon returning to New York, Tesla located a new laboratory at 175 Grand St. There is little information known about this laboratory, but here Tesla would begin work with high frequency apparatus, wireless transmission and theories on the relationship between electromagnetic radiation and light.

Tesla Moves To Astor House

Tesla toured several hotels after his return to New York and chose the Astor House for his new abode. It was a posh, five-story establishment situated by a trolley line in the heart of the city.

Tesla Opens 5th Ave. Lab

There are no documented reasons for Tesla’s relocation of his laboratory from Grand St. to 33-35 South 5th Ave. (now called West Broadway). Perhaps it was a more convenient location or provided more space, as the new laboratory took up the entire fourth floor of the six-story building. What is clear is that some of Tesla’s greatest accomplishments occurred in this lab before it was destroyed by fire in 1895.

So from my retarded understanding when Nikola Tesla was 33 years old, for some reasons he couldn’t find his peace of mind to be able to work properly on his ideas.. he had to change 3 locations in 1 year interval and he picked the one from the number 33 where he did some of his greatest accomplishments.. these are some very interesting coincidences… don’t you think so?

Now what many do not know is that Tesla real name was Nicolae Teslea and he has Romanian origins (istro-romanian), beside that in 1933 .. again 33 Albert Einstein recently emigrated in the USA was very eager to meet Nicolae as Albert knew about the experiments on nuclear fission… Cool right?

Read some other very interesting facts here: (use google translator because the text is in Romanian)

Thank you Nicolae.

Best regards, John
